By accessing or using Snow Predictor, including the homepage forecast tool, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms apply to the public website, its forecast tools, Snow & Winter Stories, and other information made available through Snow Predictor.

Snow Predictor may revise these Terms as the service changes. The date near the top of this page identifies the current published version. Continued use after an updated version is published means the updated Terms apply to later use.

Snow Predictor is an informational weather tool. It helps users check whether snow is expected tomorrow for a submitted ZIP code and may summarize expected snowfall, timing, intensity, temperature, precipitation, and a weather-based school closure outlook.

The service is intended to make forecast information easier to understand. It is not an emergency service, an official weather warning system, a transportation authority, or a school decision-making body.

All forecasts, charts, labels, explanations, and outlooks are provided for general information. They are not professional safety, travel, educational, legal, or emergency advice. Do not rely on Snow Predictor as the only source for a decision that could affect health, safety, attendance, travel, or property.

Check official weather alerts, road conditions, transit information, emergency guidance, and local announcements when conditions may be hazardous.

Weather forecasts are inherently uncertain and may change as new observations and model guidance become available. Snowfall totals, precipitation type, timing, intensity, temperature, and wind can vary within a ZIP code and can differ from earlier predictions.

A forecast result is not a promise that snow will or will not occur at a particular address. Data can also be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, or affected by provider and network errors. Snow Predictor does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness of any forecast for a particular purpose.

Snow Predictor may provide a categorical School Closure Outlook based on forecast snow amount, timing, intensity, and wintry conditions. The outlook describes weather conditions only. It does not incorporate every factor a school or authority may consider, such as local road treatment, staffing, transportation, building conditions, or district policy.

You are responsible for how you interpret and use information from Snow Predictor. Consider local conditions and information from official sources before traveling, changing school or work plans, or taking other action. If severe weather threatens life or property, follow instructions from emergency and public authorities.

You are also responsible for submitting a valid ZIP code and confirming that the displayed location and date match the forecast you intended to request.

You may use Snow Predictor for lawful, personal, and informational purposes. You must not:

• interfere with the service or place unreasonable load on it;
• attempt to bypass security controls or access nonpublic systems;
• probe for credentials, provider keys, or other protected data;
• submit malicious code or use the service to harm another person;
• misrepresent Snow Predictor's forecasts as official decisions or warnings.

Snow Predictor's original site design, product presentation, software, and editorial content may be protected by intellectual-property laws. Weather data, provider names, third-party content, and linked materials remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective owners.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Snow Predictor or any third-party material. Limited ordinary use of the public site does not grant a right to copy, resell, impersonate, or commercially redistribute protected content or services.

Snow Predictor depends on third-party services for weather data, content delivery, hosting, and related infrastructure. Those services may be unavailable, change their data, impose their own terms, or provide information that is incomplete or inaccurate.

Snow Predictor is not responsible for the independent operation, availability, or policies of a third-party service. Use of third-party data through this site does not create a direct advisory relationship between the provider and the user.

The site may link to external websites for context or additional information. Snow Predictor does not control those destinations and does not guarantee their accuracy, security, availability, or content. Review the destination's terms and privacy policy before using it.

Snow Predictor may be changed, suspended, limited, or discontinued at any time. Features, providers, forecast rules, page content, and supported locations may also change as the product develops. The service is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or available for every ZIP code or weather event.

Forecast data may update between visits. A later result can differ from an earlier one without notice because weather conditions or source data changed.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Snow Predictor and its contributors are not liable for losses, injuries, delays, missed activities, travel problems, school-related decisions, property damage, or other consequences arising from reliance on the service, forecast changes, unavailable data, or third-party services.

Some laws may not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In that case, those provisions apply only to the extent the law permits. Nothing in these Terms excludes a responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

These Terms may be updated to reflect new features, providers, legal requirements, or service practices. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated date. Review this page periodically if you continue using Snow Predictor.
